Up to her chin in heat

Hot and humid again, a terrible day for the return to school. My heart goes out to the New England children and teachers in un-airconditioned, aging school buildings.

Dreadful day for prep/cleaning for old friends arriving for an overnight tomorrow. I hate humidity with a passion. Our ACs cannot keep up, no central air in this old house.

This day came in hot and beyond what i thought possible here with humidity.
