Olive Tasting

A hot day....we were hoping that the temperature would magically drop a bit now we're into September....but apparently we have a heat wave on the way!
It's been a busy and good day....I requested a copy of a book called 'Their name is Today. Reclaiming Childhood in a hostile world', I'd ordered it weeks ago and it arrived today! It's BRILLIANT! It's about kids being allowed to just be kids and the importance of play, parental input, being outdoors etc...They think their message is so important, that they're giving away free copies to anyone who wants to read it - I've read 3 chapters and i recommend it - if you want a copy, click on this link.
A spanish lesson this afternoon, spent discussing Spanish music, so I'm blipping to some old Spanish classics (apparently) and Asha's bopping away... D had a new student this evening, so Asha and I went to our beloved Can Miquelitus for olives (marinated in orange - delicious)...a lovely lady at the table next to us offered to take our pic. 9 o'clock and we're all back home, ready for dinner and bed (for Asha).

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A lovely time with Asha this evening - lots of laughing and chatting together.
2) This book! And the fact they're giving it away free....
3) That lovely smell of clean washing...love it when the bedding goes back on and it's just so lovely and crisp - and smells wonderful!
