The hoad

The marshes were so peaceful this morning. The sun was shining and the birds were singing, I felt really content :)

Unfortunately that feeling didn't last too long as I had to battle, numerous times through tussocky patches of rushes riddled with spiders! I had to keep using my weather writer to shield myself from them and break through the webs. I was so paranoid they were crawling all over me.... O.o

After my unpleasent spider experience I ended my day in Ulverston looking over to the haod, an impressive monument which I think really adds interest to the landscape.
