Walking in the Borders
Another cracking day, a bit dull early on but changing to bright sunshine later.
Five of us were developing a walk for the club down at Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders. We did an eight mile circular walk starting in the town and climbing 1500 ft. through Pirn Craig forest, before dropping down to Walkerburn and then walking along the River Tweed back to Innerleithen. I took my picture at the river bank as we left Walkerburn.
A great day out, and had a nice drink or three in the garden of the Traquair Arms in Innerleithen before heading home.
