The yellow ribbon

Our daughter's house and our house are both up for sale. Neither of us has had that much interest and we are both getting desperate to move. Our daughter read somewhere that if you hang a yellow ribbon somewhere around the house it will bring luck and the house will be sold!
Having searched everywhere locally for a shop that sells ribbon ( very difficult to find!!), I eventually, yesterday, tracked down a place and gave a metre to daughter and kept a metre for us.We left her, hanging the bow by the front door, and within an hour, there was a 'phone call from the Estate Agent to say that they have a viewer tomorrow!!
My yellow ribbon has been hung outside this morning!!!! WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
