Day 1 Slimbridge

It's gone hot again!!! We set off for our holiday today and tonight we are staying over at Slimbridge Two reasons, firstly we visited the wetland centre to see the birds, a fascinating place but no Roos allowed, luckily the motorhome is well ventilated for such times, secondly I had a flying visit with my middle sister who lives about 40 mins from Slimbridge, my eldest sister also lives in Malmesbury but she's on her hols too, so we will all catch up again soon.

This Road is on the canal near our campsite, it gets closed and then swings open to let boats travel along the canal.

Roo was amazed at this feat of engineering!!!
