The Gauntlet

This was the sight I was faced with at lunchtime on Inverness High Street.

Within 100 yards - three charity muggers, a Yes tent with foot soldiers, a No tent with foot soldiers, two men with ipads conducting some sort of survey, a street pastor chatting, and the usual mix of neds and drunks. There wasn't even space for a piper.

If this had been a game on Gladiators, no one would have won.
