Eagle

On my way home from practice the other day I happened to see this bald eagle. After pulling off the side of the road I figured I would take this picture for my photo journal. Considering that the bald eagle is an endangered species it is pretty awesome that I could see one in this area. Bald eagles are pretty great creatures. Not only are they America's national bird but they are also fairly close to being extinct. These birds of prey are very graceful considering their size. I think it's pretty remarkable that I saw one just recently. While I still find seeing one pretty cool, I have been seeing more and more of them each year. Hopefully this trend continues, so that way they come off the endangered species list. I think that would be pretty awesome. Just the thought of an endangered species being removed from that list is an outstanding thought and that thought becoming a reality can not be described with words. Even though I am seeing more of these creatures in this are, it does not necessarily mean that they are multiplying throughout the world though. So keeping that in mind, I will not get my hopes too high just yet.
