A Sunday Drive on Monday

A glorious day to drive
but a dangerous day to drive
It is the end of a long weekend holiday
We took the backroads hoping
to avoid the congestion and
the risks
Off to Merritt for lunch in the old hotel
On to Logan Lake to make the circle
back to Kamloops
Weather is beautiful but not to last
