Winter at the Leekstermeer

For this blip I wen to the Leekstermeer, which is very close to the city of Groningen. This map shows the exact location.

The lake is completely covered with 20 cm (!!) of ice, which in turn is covered with a couple of cm of snow. This weekend, an ice skating race is organised here.

I took a whole series of pictures but of course had to choose one for my blip. A couple of others can be found on my website.
