So sad to be leaving Cornwall. It's 28 years since I was last here (David and I spent our first ever holiday together in Cornwall, age 19. You do the math ;-) and I certainly won't leave it so long next time!

As we split the journey home over two days, we were only travelling as far as Stafford but that was bad enough. The A30 wasn't fun! The M5 wasn't much better and despite setting off at 10am, it was 5pm before we reached the Holiday Inn Express.

Felt better after a refreshing G&T and chinese takeaway from the wonderful chinese just across from the Hotel. Early night in prep for the final leg of the journey home.
