Reading Station
It has been a bad week for blipping. I've not left my desk at lunchtime to get out and about in search of photos.
There were no underground trains at Great Portland Street this evening so I ended up hopping on a bus to Paddington. Missed the train with my booked seat but just squeezed on another one. Luckily it was on time and tied up with my bus.
My bus stop has moved closer to the station so this is my view most evenings. The approach to the station is still being finished off - hence all the green barriers. It is a standing joke in the town that the statue of King Edward VII is facing away from the town and looks towards the escape route of the station. Apparently it dates to 1902.
