First Day!

Today is JimJams first day in Reception. Doesn't she look smart. All of a sudden she isn't a baby anymore, but a little girl. I am so proud of her after everything she's been through. She had a great morning, I stayed and just played with her for the morning just to get her used to everything, and she was fab. The teachers husband even made a bit of equipment for us, rather like a large version of a baby gym to encourage her to grab and play with toys. How thoughtful. The not so great moment was when one child threw a ball at her and hit her on the side of the head. Not a great start! All staff was so pleased to see her, and what amazes me, with all schools, is how everyone knows every child's name.

Tooth fairy will be paying Caitlin a visit tonight too. What an exciting day all round. X
