Autumn hearts.

Brian, the snail, was supposed to be coming for dinner tonight, but he stood me up. Must have got a better offer elsewhere.

So I went outside to look for him, but the fierce midges chased me inside rather rapidly.

The Katsura Tree close to my back door is one of my favourites, with it's heart shaped leaves, and delicious Autumn smell of toffee. Not to mention it's fabulous Autumn colours.

Had a quick play on Lightroom, which I don't understand at all, so this is slightly brighter than real life!
