Birthday Boy

Today was my girls first day back at school. They've had a fun filled summer holidays, ram jammed with trips out and activities. Sinead and I have tried as hard as we could to try and keep them fully occupied. Naturally E&M were reluctant going back, however Missy G woke up singing a song about going back! E&M were similarly eager at her age. It's a shame the enthusiasm wanes over time...

Today also saw ferguson turn 6. Me and Suz had arranged to go halves on his bike, and considering I went along to collect it with her and built it, I was a little upset and taken aback when she told me she'd accepted Ian's money for half of it instead of mine. So I had to make a last minute dart out to get this enormous water gun instead. I think he was impressed with it. Suzanne reported that he'd been on best behaviour all day, thankfully. Fingers crossed it's a new leaf. It's horrible seeing the effect his behaviour is having on his mum.
