Law of Large Numbers

I have no idea what that actually is, although I know there is such a thing. 888,000+ is definitely a large number, and seeing something approaching that number of poppies in the moat of the Tower of London was quite something. They flood out over most of the surface of the moat on two sides and there are still enough left to to draw
A thin red,line around the entire building. I don't know if I've ever seen 888,000 of anything - knowing this represents only British dead from WW1 is mindblowing.
