Distraction
The usual maelstrom of the Wednesday passed without incident for a change today.
A long dog walk thanks to a late start at work and a bit of last minute dash from work to Spanish class in the afternoon but nothing too bad.
An enjoyable Spanish class, a sneaky drive past my current dream house and home for Niamh coming in from school - except she was already home from school! Bad mother, delaying her return home to go house hunting!
Child and mother fed, football kit on, youngest dropped off with Daddy for football, collected middle son from bus who had accomplished an amazing Mr Ben (remember him!?) switch from schoolboy to rugby player to sea cadet AND fed himself at school AND made the late bus back! Impressed!
Zip down the motorway to deliver middle son to Sea Cadets and then, and then....2 whole hours free!
Someone suggested a trip to Tesco. That would have been very full-hardy and very expensive.
I eventually took up residence in the car at North Queensferry with full intentions of doing some studying.
It was such a lovely night that I eventually landed up gingerly walking down a slippy slipway with tripod and camera...had I known, I would have brought my new (second hand) filter I bought this week.
Something very calming and beautiful about the Forth Bridges...can't wait to see the third one completed!
Picked up middle son, zipped up the motorway and collected eldest son from Air Cadets - chips on the way home!
Bed now!
