LOOK UP!

I went for a hike on Indian Boundary Lake Trail this morning, and I'm not sure how I managed to spy this guy in an overhead tree...I'm such a klutz I normally have my eyes on the path so I don't trip and fall. I just happened to look up and see him there in the bare branches of a dead tree.

I think it's a Ratsnake of one sort or another, which are non-venomous, but I wasn't too anxious to look too closely. I was very content to snap a few and keep moving!

But, I must admit I found myself looking up a lot more than normal!
