Postcard to Mr Barking ~ Day #6

Dear Mr Barking

I cannot believe that you've been gone for six days already! We're still in double figures, but come Saturday morning, it'll be on the countdown to your return.

It's been a day of ups and downs here, but I won't go into details here; hopefully we'll get to talk later on.

I am hoping that your mum will teach me how to knit (or re-teach me) tonight. I'm about to head into Sunbury to get some bits and pieces to make pizza for dinner and am looking forward to an early night.

I miss you, my darling DB. I hope you're safe and happy.
