After yesterday's internet shop, today was the real thing. Needed to collect a pair of trousers I'd taken to be shortened (didn't know that the workshop closed on Thursdays) and return my laptop power lead for repair/replacement under warranty (not covered apparently, though that's not how I read the warranty).

I was more successful with the shopping side of the visit but in all a frustrating morning.

I passed this demolition site on my travels and liked the way the front of the building was still standing and the digger shovel could be seen through the pane of glass in the front door.
