Late Summer Borders

Spent a very pleasant afternoon in the very warm gardens of Mottistone Manor in the South of the Island. The Manor is a National Trust property and is well with visiting throughout the year.

In the borders in temperatures approaching 25C the flowers were putting on a wonderful display of late Summer colour. I would have loved to have stayed as the sun dipped lower but the gardens unfortunately close at 5PM.
