Chocolate x 4

This is Nigella's quadruple chocolate loaf. It is baked with a chocolate batter and choc chunks then coated in a chocolate syrup and flaked chocolate is sprinkled over the top.

I'm not a chocolate cake fan - loathe brownies for instance, the texture... eugh... but this cake is really nice.

It's also one of the four cakes in the chocolate selection boxes this week along with coconut brownies (says nothing..), best ever chocolate topped tiffin and the nutella, cocoa and mascarpone Vic sandwich.

Of all the things I've made today the mascarpone buttercream is just flipping delicious. And thankfully there was slightly too much for the intended cake.
