At Last a Solution

Every time the hoover was turned on, or a power tool attached to the patio socket, the house main supply switch would trip. We have been 'getting by' for a while, but with all the jobs I have around the house it had to be fixed. Luckily our electrician was able to point out the possible problem (a dodgy earth on the feed to the house) and EDF came out to see if it was down to them. EDF do not like to admit anything is down to them, and after changing the main trip box, replacing the earth connection on the supply outside the house 'just in case' (see pic) they left with the usual "not our problem we think, must have been a problem with the house wiring". It hasn't tripped once since.......
