Makeover 3

Been to work again today but have now finished for the week. I like finishing at 1 o'clock! It means I get home in time to do some more interesting stuff - in this case working out how to strip the wood that makes the bed in the spare bedroom. It's varnished pine which won't go with the new furniture SO I decided we should be able to paint it cream. We hoped Nitromors would do it easily but how wrong we were. Back to original plan - use the sander. Managed one of the side "planks" as an experiment and it looks like that will work - it's just going to be very dusty. Maybe the weather will be good enough to do some of it outside.

As you can see, carpet has gone now and about the only thing left in there is the mirror on the wall - so I can do my Snow White's stepmother routine in the morning.
