I met a couple of friends for dinner this evening at Henderson's in Edinburgh. Henderson's is well known as being a pioneer in vegetarian food, having opened in 1962! Originally it was a just a shop selling produce from the owners farm in East Lothian. Now there is a shop, bistro and restaurant. A couple came into the restaurant and sat next to us said they had been visiting it since the '70s. A good evening catching up and planning some things to do later in the year.
