Bug Hotel

First proper day back at work today. Totally unproductive. Internet down. Can't access emails from the summer holidays. Can't access information or do vital returns ...which also require internet access. It's quite phenomenal how much we rely on it.

Today's Blip is a quick shot of our new and improved Bug Hotel in the schools grounds, which the children made on our Eco-Day in May. I thought if do this before I forgot as Rotawheels/carscribe said I should Blip it after seeing hers. So here it is. I love it, because the pupils made it on a very wet day and they loved doing it.

The packing of boxes continues....although I've ran out of decent sized ones to pack my beloved books. As there's nowhere to display them in the temporary house, I wonder when I'll see their spines again. I'm a book hoarder...I don't like to either chuck them, recycle or give them away. One day I'll have a reading room! That reminds me...I need to buy a winning ticket.

Tomorrow we will have an extra pair of hands to help move the big stuff, while the Munckins are both safely tucked away at school. I'll be glad when this weekends over....
