Books at home
A small section of our bookshelf which is filled with mainly books belonging to my husband. He enjoys reading fiction and loves Scottish history. Most of the books on this shelf are about Scotland or written by a Scottish author. There are only 3 book's in this shot that don't belong to him. 1) 'Room' an amazing book my friend recommended to me. 2) 'The diverting history of a Loyalist Town' which I inherited from my dad. It is about his home town, St Andrew's New Brunswick Canada. Hand written inside the front cover is my dad's name and the date February 1947. 3) 'The Halifax Explosion' a book that my mother passed on to us about a significant event that happened in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1917. Her father had been a child at the time living about 150 km away and he could feel the aftershock of the event.
