Tomorrow is the start of the Greenwich Tall Ships Festival which is on from 5th to 9th September, so I thought I'd have a look to see if any of the ships had arrived yet. A few were moored near the centre of Greenwich, near the pier and I could see a few a bit further up, near the 02.

I was a little frowny though, when I got home and suddenly heard loud bangs and saw quite a long-lasting firework display just above the rooftops, in the direction of the river. It said the firework display was going to be on tomorrow evening, on the website. The cheeky scamps, setting off their box of Standard Fireworks without me! This firework-less, skinny, sliver of a river, grey photo will have to do!
