Visa pour l'image

Went to my first blip meet today, far away from home in Perpignan ! It was great to meet up with fellow blippers Veronica,
Tickytocky and Bundle to look at some of the many exhibitions on as part of Visa pour l'image . Its an annual event and well recommended although I found some of the images rather gruesome. Strangely those most difficult to look at in this respect were among the small group of photos taken by amateurs.
There were some fantastic exhibitions by the professional journalists many of whom are working in such awful and dangerous situations. Not a job that I could do!
This was taken in the 'Eglise des Dominicans' , a beautiful venue for an exhibition.
