Year 2, Day 229 - Pods

I bought an alpine plant at the start of the summer and it produces these little flowers. They are small - about the size of a pea or slightly larger. It has been raining non-stop all day but managed to get out for a quick blip of it. Despite its size, it holds a lot of water - you can just make out the rain it has collected.

I was kind of hoping the sun would make an appearance tonight so I can get another shot like yesterday but I think the rain is on for the rest of the day. So much for the return of summer this weekend!
