Simon's Pool

This is a very sad place. In 1952 three orphaned boys, fostered out from Glasgow were living on the Black Isle. They were aged, 12, 14 and 18. the 12 and 14 year old's were brothers. They went to the pool to play and all three of them drowned. A memorial stands there today. A very sad place, but also very beautiful!
