Early Days

Today's blip was going to be something entirely different (Christmas chocolate filling the shelves in tesco!) but when Anna brought home her learning journals from her two years in nursery and her reception year I chose something from one of those instead. She's come such a long way but is still the determined, focused and independent little girl I wrote about in the front of her journal in January 2011, when I had to write an answer to "tell us about your child". She's been telling her teachers today how much she's looking forward to starting her Grade 1 ballet class tomorrow. She's trying on character shoes on in her room as I type!

In other news Jack got the first Pupil of the Week certificate in achievement assembly today! He's not entirely sure what it was for, something to do with excellent manners and speaking up in class. Both lovely things to be recognised for.
