Twas on a Friday Morning-----

Arrived home to discover that our heating controller had died. It's summer so we can live without heating, but no hot water?
My heating maintenance contract paid off again, one phone call, 40 min wait, then the first engineer arrived. Much scratching of head over over a now obsolete system (which had a burnt out circuit board), then the arrival of two more engineers. Result, all the old controls removed, latest state of the art all singing all dancing replacement installed, for which I had to pay a minuscule amount.
Now for a nice hot shower!
