Natural Still Life!

Felt very groggy most of the morning - didn't have a very good nights sleep...oh well, that's the great part about being self employed.....adjust my expectations for the day!

I had to drive out to The Dancing River Sprite to deconstruct the Pottery Room....and then i had a lovely lunch with Charlotte. Her home is just so creative, not in a co-ordinated......things are just right kind of way, but more in a very organic and beautifully understated manner! i can always count on an interesting image or 2 when i visit her! this little still life just fell together - especially after she dropped her lovely green hat on the table when we came in from having lunch on her deck!!!

I've never been very good at setting up still life settings for myself to paint....but this one has me intrigued and i will, at some point, try a painting of it!

Not sure if i'll head back into the mudroom or not!!!
