Lost......

.....a good friend today!
A lovely person ; just 62.....but cancer doesn't care!
A sad morning with her husband , so went off this afternoon to the old Lochwood Oaks with little Jack ,,,,,wee west highland terrier that has the misfortune to be staying with me for a few days!
To look for fungi ,but the places that always yielded chanterelles are bare !
But found instead copious hazel nuts that are packed with delicious kernels......will have to come back in 10days when they should be just right !
And also to have another chat to these two old oakmen, whose council is so wise at these times !!!! :-)
