Cafe society

Another drama with the building works today that saw us hot footing it again into Horsham to the Aga showroom.. Kitchen planner had designed the whole kitchen, including an Aga, without taking account of enormous pipework sticking out of the wall. When they were boxed in nothing fitted. Cupboards wouldn't open etc etc and there was no way that the age could be installed. The problem is that kitchen designer is the partner of a good friend so it is even more difficult.

I kept lapsing into terrible consultancy speak - "now let's stay solutions focused" which made the builder and Ken want to bury me along with the pipework.

Anyway, the plumber is coming tomorrow to see if he can do anything.

Meanwhile we will be homeless for a little while longer.
