For A Harvest of Plenty

These are our own Victoria plums and they are real beauties. It is quite tricky picking them because, needless to say, I have failed to prune the tree properly.

Behind them you see my first six gallons of apple champagne fizzy white wine. This is a nice wine recipe to make because it is not too demanding.

The recipe requires a good variety of different apples in it to give a good flavour. To achieve this I freeze the juice of the first apple varieties to ripen and then feed it in with the later varieties.
