...another rose. The afternoon is warm. The sun you can see is throwing strong shadows onto the backdrop of a patch of shining lawn and caught me among its subjects. During the week the traffic on the roadside frontage is steady. This lovely Saturday afternoon - my first at my new address - I discover the traffic has lulled and it really feels like "Saderdee arv" as we called this golden playtime when I was a child. Some birds are squawking and skitchering about summat into the air.

The early hours were chill again and the cold mornings and low minimum temperatures are forecast for a number more days. All's well and still unpacking. Thank you, dear blippers for your comments and time and kind support. I appreciate your friendship here so much.
