Permanent mooring

In London this weekend and we walked a part of the Thames Path between Barnes Bridge and Brentford. At this section near Kew Bridge there were lots of houseboats which seemed to have made themselves into permanent homes, with riverside gardens, gates and even postboxes! The one in the picture looks pretty well set up with a garden bench and a lovely view across to the opposite bank.
