They were periodically interrupted by the wife of one of them bellowing, "Bruno, you are not jumping off that rock!", as if he was a wayward child. This isn't the highest place you can jump from; insouciant teenagers leap from the bridge seven or eight metres above the water.

In high summer this swimming spot is mobbed, but it's relatively peaceful now the schools have gone back. A pleasant place to while away a couple of hours after work.
