venturing out

to 'coffee' with friends...the cafe thing is still unusual for the 5 & ¾ LittleMissDuo. Learning the skills needed to order & converse over a beverage is a work in progress...
Then today whilst the sun provided enough heat & blue sky - thought we'd go try something different...so we dusted off the bikes & added some tyre pressure.

Funny thing about LMD....if they don't repeat things regularly they lose the skill. Swimming a few weeks ago & today riding...we had tears, tantrums & near misses. But alas, persistence with lots of positive enthusiasm & they got through the whole ordeal unscathed....even said they enjoyed it when we talked about our day over dinner.

Funny how 5 & ¾ year olds have so many social skills to learn
