Heading Upriver...

Rather cloudy to-day although it never rained but it does make it difficult to get any sparkle into your pictures.. This bend in the river is a realatively new addition, during very heavy water some years ago it cut the banking and re-routed, it used to flow straight off at the top of the picture... Standing on the shingle in the foreground are 5 Canada geese...
