The Year of the Tiger

In the Chinese calendar the year 2010 is the Year of the Tiger, which is also known by its formal name of Geng Yin. Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. Today there was a celebration of the Chinese New Year's Eve at Kamppi in Helsinki.

I saw earlier this week in the newspaper that there was going to be a show today, so I decided to go there and have my daily blip dose. There were amazingly many people, so it took me a while to work my way through the crowd. The show was very interesting with different performances from dragons to chinese theater.
