Day 2 in the new house, and much chaos.

The errant lorry turned up today. Thankfully they'd been able to repair it without having to unload it; there was a lot of stuff on there.

Embarking on the Great Unpacking, and the Great Moving Around To See If It Fits. ...and the question of which of the seven lounges do we put the TV in? The scale of this place is bewildering.

The scale of telecom provider One Bill's arrogance / stupidity / aggression is also bewildering. Having accepted the request the transfer the line to Phone coop they cancelled it at the last minute, leaving us without comms for at least 2 weeks.

Many calls with nameless jobsworths today. Clearly they want to force us into a contract. All they're doing is ensuring we won't, ever, with a bargepole,..


However, at the end of the day we walked to the pub / Place of Internet over the hills, and remembered why we are doing this - even with the pain of the jobsworths.
