Sienna?
No, Belfast! I was meant to be in Dublin with some girlfriends this weekend, but we had to postpone due to illness. I ended up meeting with E in Belfast instead and we decided to look on the city as tourists might!
I have seen this building for years, but today I really looked at it - and decided it was beautiful! It looks a bit Italianate to me, with those lovely windows.
E and I shared a room in second year at uni, and such a laugh we had together. I met her on my second day at Queen's University, Belfast, when we collided in the corridor outside a lecture theatre. We were both running because we were late.
So began a great friendship, which has lasted now for nearly 40 years! We laughed at our first meeting and have been laughing together more or less ever since. E is now a mother of four, but I still remember the girl with all the 'goss' who was quick to laugh and was always up for mischief!
Friends are definitely to be counted as riches in life :)
