Day 3: Figueres.
Today was our first proper day in Spain and we went to the Salvador Dahli museum in Figueres - we also had a bit of a walk around the town aswell because we're staying only two minutes away. Everything's so much better than in England. People were actually queuing up to get inside a church, and the ice cream is proper stuff; not frozen milk-water.
The inside of the Dahli museum was as expected really: weird. Although some of it was really clever, like the Lincoln in Dalivision. Really good stuff. I've never really been an artsy person despite enjoying photography; I can't draw or paint at all - the camera does all the work for me. Still, I appreciate things I suppose. Dahli makes it easy for people to appreciate his things; they're all so quirky, but make absolute sense.
This evening we went bowling, which was good fun. It was rather competitive though. Although, as a proud member (and leader) of the first violin team I have no difficulty in bragging about how good we were. We beat the 'cello section, who were our lane partners, by quite some way. And the victory was loud. We didn't win overall, but considering that I only managed to hit a grand total of zero pins in my first six attempts, I'm very pleased with the outcome.
