Carnethy 5

Today was the big race. A bit over 6 miles, about 2500 feet of ascent and pure murder.

Actually, it wasn't that bad. I'm not sure what my time was yet - but my dream time was 1 hr 45. I beat that by at least 10 mins. I spent significant stretches of the downhill on my a*se though, so I think that sped things up.

Night in with a DVD, a few beers and a nice dinner (and very pleasant company).
