reflections

With another sunny day forecast there was only one place to be ..... in the hills. Borrrowdale was our destination and a walk that we've never done. Parked at Rosthwaite and did a circular route taking in Dock Tarn and Watendlath Tarn.

It was a very steep climb up through the woods (oh, my poor knees) but once out onto the fell it was lovely. Loads of heather which would have been at it's best perhaps a month ago and great views. Glad we did the walk anti-clockwise - I wouldn't have liked to come down that way.

These reflections are in Dock Tarn. Only a bit of grass at the top of the photo is the right way up.
