Nature's Harvest

Blackberries! Loads of them.

I love autumn foods and each year try to cook a seasonal meal for my birthday in mid-October. Along with apples from my small tree and a pile of windfalls from a friend I'll be making apple crumbles and - the big experiment - blackberry ripple ice cream.

Now I just have to get rid of the black stains on my fingers from my blackberrying session.
