Today's the day ............................ to compare
Will and son Rob have been sorting through the load of stuff that belongs to him (Rob) currently taking up lots of room in the attic. The idea is to get Rob to agree to most of the stuff being disposed of - thereby freeing up lots of space for us to use.
Of course, it's never as simple as that. All the stuff has many memories attached which have to be given the chance to re-surface and be pondered over. Take this memory stick for example. It was the first one that Rob bought - and in 2001, it was cutting edge technology. After all - it could hold a staggering 128 MBs of data. Looking at it now, it looks enormous - but how much do you think it cost him back then?
Believe it or not - it was an even more staggering - £44 ...........................
